Guess Hall, named in honor of Dean Malcolm Guess, was dedicated on April 26, 1961. The first men’s dormitory to be centrally air-conditioned, Guess Hall was constructed as a dormitory for 224 male students. It had two separate wings, both connecting to a first-floor lobby. At one time it was reserved for graduate or law students. It was the first dormitory, in 1984, to house both male and female students, in the two separate wings.
Demolition began on September 8th 2014 and these bricks were recovered from the site on October 14th 2014.
